When God Feels Quiet, But You Keep Believing

There are seasons when you pray with all your might…
and the silence is louder than anything you’ve ever heard.

You try to listen.
You look for signs.
You search for comfort in the scriptures, the songs, the sermons—
and yet, it still feels like God is quiet.

That’s where I am.

I’m walking through one of the hardest storms of my life—
grieving the loss of my sister,
carrying the pain of my son’s situation,
and trying to hold myself together when everything feels like it’s falling apart.

But still… I believe.

I believe that silence isn’t absence.
I believe that delay isn’t denial.
I believe that even in the quiet, God is working things out for me.

I don’t need thunder.
I don’t need fire.
I just need to remember that faith was never about feelings—it was always about trust.

If you’re in a quiet season, keep going.
If you’re praying and hearing nothing, keep speaking.
If you feel like you’re walking alone, keep walking—because God walks with you even when you don’t feel His footsteps.

This post is for the silent believers.
The weary worshippers.
The ones who cry in the shower and then show up anyway.

You are not alone.
And the silence will not last forever.

🙏 Prayer

God, even when I can’t hear You, I trust You.
Even when I can’t feel You, I believe You’re near.
Strengthen my faith when my soul is tired.
Hold me when I’m breaking.
And let me see Your light, even in the quiet.
Amen.
